How quickly can I expect my order to arrive?

Once we receive your order, we will process it as soon as possible (about 2 business days). Your onsēm parcel will then take 4-7 business days to reach you. Current carrier delays may extend time. Sometimes, we will make your skirt on order so it might take a bit longer. We will get in touch to let you know.
How do I return an item?

First, visit our return section on our website onsem.com/return to fill the return form. Insert the original order confirmation in the package with your item and send it back to us at onsēm - 1274 Palmer avenue - 10538 Larchmont. We will proceed with the reimbursement within 2 days of receiving your item. Your refund will take approximately 15 days to appear in your account to allow enough time for us to process the return.
How long will it take for my refund to be processed ?

Once we have received your return, your refund will take approximately 15 days to appear in your account to allow enough time for us to process the return. You'll receive a confirmation email once the refund has been processed. The funds should appear in your account within the following 24 hours.
Which size shall I choose for the Wrap Skirts?

Please check our size page for help. If you have any doubt, get in touch contact.onsem@gmail.com and we will help you to find the best size for you. We recommend wearing the wrap skirt with the flap behind to give it a more modern feel.
How do I know if the elastic of the Elastic Skirt will fit me?

With its elastic waist, the Elastic Midi Skirt fits several sizes. You can wear it either comfortably on your hips or higher on your waist, adapting it to your personal style and comfort. Check the onsem size page for more info. Some elastic are more stretchy than others. Is the colour true to the photo?

We do our best to ensure that our photos are as true to color as possible. However, due to inconsistencies of various monitors, lighting sources, digital photography, we cannot guarantee that the color you see on your screen accurately portrays the true color of the product. Screen images are intended as a guide only and should not be regarded as absolutely correct.
I am concerned the African wax fabric is quite stiff

When we visit our suppliers, we try to get the softer fabrics for our skirts. If we see one which we think is a bit stiff but we love the print, we soak the fabric in water for 24h. The fabric will also soften with time.
Do you sell Elastic Skirt or the Great Big Bag made to order?

We only purchase a few yards of fabrics at a time in order to avoid waste. Get in touch with us at contact.onsem@gmail.com or send us a message via the contact form so we can chat about it and let you know if we have some fabric left to make it for you.
Why are they so few skirts per fabric?

We visit our African fabric suppliers in the Bronx and Manhattan about once a month to handpick our fabrics. To limit the waste, we purchase a few yards at a time. Often those aren't available at our following visit...Sometimes they are!
How long does it take to make a wrap skirt made to order?

A wrap skirt take several hours to make. As we are a small team, we ask for 10-12 business days to produce it as we might get several to make. However we will try our best to have it ready asap.
